Your System Gets A Lot of Use
Here in the DFW metro, your air conditioner gets a lot of use throughout the year. Even if you don’t need repairs, annual maintenance visits keep it running at its optimal performance. In the event you do need a repair, we’ve put together a list of things to help make your experience better.
Before We Get There
Make sure you or someone over the age of 18 is present to provide access to your house and A/C.
Be able to articulate the problem that your A/C unit is having.
If you rent, check with your landlord to authorize repair and service work.
Know where all your equipment is, not just your A/C unit, but the breakers, thermostat, and furnace.
Move objects away from your unit and equipment to let the technician have easy access.
Be able to explain to the technician what you have already done in an attempt at troubleshooting.
Secure your pets in a room or in your garage to let the technician work safely.
Give your technician a good phone number to confirm the appointment and get updates about their time.
Be able to inform your technician about any previous work that was done on your unit.
Have your model number ready, as well as any warranty information about your A/C unit.
Given the unfortunate situation of having A/C issues, we hope these tips help you have the best experience possible. Additionally, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any of your AC repair or replacement needs.
